Hey there! I’m Emily — a fun, creative, and totally approachable family and branding photographer based in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you’re looking for someone who captures the real moments — the spontaneous laughter, the quiet cuddles, the authentic connections — then we’re definitely a great fit! Whether I’m photographing your wild and wonderful family, those precious milestones in your kids’ lives, or creating unique branding content for your business, my goal is to capture all those genuine, meaningful moments that make your story yours.
I’m originally from sunny Florida (yep, I traded palm trees for snow!) but moved to Cincinnati in 2022 with my husband and our little ones. Just a few weeks after we made the move, I was pregnant with my second baby — so I took some time to settle into our new home, get to know the area, and connect with people before diving into the next chapter of my photography career.
It wasn’t until 2024 that I officially launched my photography LLC, but it’s been a dream come true! In the meantime, I’ve been soaking in all the newness — from getting familiar with the local parks and coffee shops, to watching my kids grow up in this new city. It’s been an exciting time of change, and I’ve loved every minute of it.
Alongside photography, I work in social work and child welfare, where I focus on children’s safety, mental well-being, and emotional growth. It’s incredibly rewarding work, and I’m deeply committed to helping kids and families thrive. But I’ll be honest — as much as I love my social work, photography gives me such a refreshing, creative way to connect with kids and families. It’s a fun, relaxed approach to capturing moments that’s totally different from my day job, and I love getting to be a part of that joy!
My artistic background also plays a huge role in how I approach my photography. Before diving into photography full-time, I worked in graphic design, promotional design, marketing, and event planning. I’ve even held an important role organizing an internationally known wine festival that raises millions for at-risk children every year! All of that creative experience gives me a unique perspective when it comes to branding and storytelling. I absolutely love working with local small businesses to help create branding photos that reflect their unique personalities and connect with their audience.
As a mom myself, I know how important it is to capture those fleeting moments. Life moves fast, and I’m here to help you preserve the memories that matter most.
