Imagine standing amidst a sea of cherry blossoms, with petals dancing in the soft spring breeze as the golden light of sunset gently embraces you. Ault Park transforms into a dreamlike setting during the cherry blossom season, providing a perfect backdrop for portraits that exude tranquility, beauty, and the rejuvenating spirit of spring.

Our Mini Cherry Blossom Sessions are designed to capture your unique story against this breathtaking scenery. Whether it’s a solo portrait, a romantic couple’s photo, a family moment, or a maternity shoot, the cherry blossoms add a layer of ethereal beauty to every frame.

Booking Your Moment in the Blooms

Session Details:

Dates: March 29, 2024*, and March 30, 2024*

Location: Ault Park, Cincinnati

Deposit: $75 (nonrefundable*)

Inclusions: A pre-session consultation, 20 minutes of shoot time, and a selection of beautifully edited images that capture your moments among the blossoms.

Nature’s Unpredictability: Our Contingency Plan

We understand that the peak of the cherry blossom bloom is a natural event that does not strictly adhere to our calendars. Typically, the blossoms reach their peak during the last week of March and the first week of April. However, this timing can shift due to weather patterns.

Should the cherry trees not be in full bloom on our scheduled dates, back-up dates will be held within the following two weeks. This ensures that your portraits capture the full glory of the cherry blossoms.

Deposit and Cancellations:

A $75 deposit secures your slot for this once-a-year opportunity. This deposit is nonrefundable unless back-up dates are necessitated by the bloom schedule or inclement weather, and the new date/time does not work with your schedule.

Ensuring a Perfect Session

To make the most of your Mini Cherry Blossom Session, consider the following tips:

• Wardrobe: Choose outfits that complement the soft pastels of the cherry blossoms. Light, flowing fabrics can add movement and a touch of whimsy to your photos. A complimentary color guide is listed below, so you know what color's would best compliment the blossoms.
• Timing: Sessions are scheduled to fit the needs of families who work 9-5 during the week, with morning sessions on Saturday. I am also booking sessions for Friday afternoon to hopefully work around the crowds of people who will surely arrive to take advantage of the short time span that the trees will be in bloom.
• Please be sure to arrive early, as parking is difficult and regularly requires a long walk and wait time to get into the park, as there are always significant crowds.
• Respect Nature: We’re guests in the park’s natural beauty. Let’s ensure we leave no trace and preserve the blossoms for everyone to enjoy.
